Native American Law Students Association (NALSA)

KU NALSA is an organization of dynamic law students, both Indian and non-Indian, that participate in many programs. We attend National NALSA conferences annually as well as participate in the National NALSA Moot Court competition. On two occasions, the KU NALSA won first place in the National NALSA Moot Court competition. Members of the KU NALSA routinely attend the annual Federal Bar Association's Indian Law Conference in Albuquerque as well as the annual Tribal Law Conference hosted every fall at KU Law School.

Our members are an integral part of the KU Tribal Law and Government center as well as the Tribal Judicial Clinic. We participate in annual service projects and have many social events year around. We work together to help each other progress in the study of the law by providing a mentor program as well as study materials.
