Brian Hardouin

My name is Brian Hardouin, and I am a Second year law student from Broomfield, Colorado. Before law school, I attended Colorado State University, where I received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Computer Engineering.

At Colorado State, I was a member of the student government and worked on a variety of projects on behalf of the students. I have continued my involvement in student government here at Kansas University through the Student Senate and finance committees. Additionally, I was part of an all law student coed intramural softball league and am looking forward to next season.

During the summer, I interned at the Wyandotte District Attorney’s office through the Criminal prosecution clinic. I will continue my involvement in the clinical programs by working in the Defender Project this academic year. After law school, I look forward to working at a district attorney’s office either here in Kansas or back in Colorado.

Many reasons brought me to KU but most notably the small school feel brought by the close group of students and faculty who will care about your success and look forward to seeing your future. KU law also provides numerous clinical programs and externship opportunities to help prepare the graduating law student gain real world experience before entering the work force. I am confident any student who visits Lawrence and KU will immediately feel at home and confident they will receive a top of the line legal education.
