Sonja Kramer
My name is Sonja Kramer and I am a first year law student from Mustang, Oklahoma. I studied Entrepreneurship & Venture
Management at The University of Oklahoma, where I graduated in 2006. During my undergraduate studies, I held leadership
roles in Campus Activities Council, Integrated Business Core, Alpha Chi Omega and the OU Panhellenic Association.
In addition to my experiences there I volunteered with OU’s Big E vent, Tuesday Tutors, World Neighbors, and the Oklahoma
Blood Institute.
Before deciding to attend law school, I worked for the Alpha Chi Omega national organization as a Leadership Mentor,
commonly called a traveling consultant. This position took me across the southwest to various universities working with
collegiate women on leadership skills. Traveling allowed me the opportunity to consider my future goals and I realized
that graduate school was a necessity.
I was impressed with KU for not only having numerous joint degree, certificate and clinical programs, but with the
personal attention they give each student. My visit experience was wonderful! I had all of my questions, from the
big to the small and silly, answered.
Now that I am actually here, I am enjoying the great college town of Lawrence and the community that the law school provides through mentor programs,
involvement in organizations, and community service opportunities. KU Law has so much to offer, I hope you decide to
make your home here. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. SLKramer@ku.edu
