Sean Miller

Sean MillerHowdy! My name is Sean Miller and I am a third year student at KU Law. I am originally from the thriving metropolis of Midlothian, TX. In 1994 I moved to College Station, TX where I attended Texas A&M University.

In 2002 I decided that in order to achieve my career objectives it was necessary for me to further my education. Following a great deal of research and applications to schools across the country I came to the conclusion that KU Law offered me the best of all worlds. It was a well-known, highly respected school, located in a great college town. It boasted a diverse and well-rounded faculty and was the perfect size in my opinion. Large enough to offer a ton of opportunities, KU Law has also proven small enough that it fosters the friendly ‘small town’ atmosphere that I grew up with.

During my time in Lawrence I have continued to be active in the legislative process working as a lobbyist in the State Capitol. The close proximity to Topeka (our capital city) and Kansas City presents many opportunities for jobs both in the summer and during the school term.

I encourage you to do as much research as possible when choosing the school where you will spend your next three years. However, I fully believe that if you choose KU Law you will never regret it. If you have any questions or if I can help explain any part of the process, please feel free to e-mail me at Sean98@ku.edu.
