Application Procedures
In order to apply for admission to the University of Kansas School of Law, you must:
- Complete a Bachelor's Degree
- Take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT)
- Register with the Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS)
- Submit a Complete Application
Submit to KU Law online or by mail
- 2008 Application Form
- $50 Application Fee
- Resume (optional)
- Personal Statement
- Letter of Certification (if apply online)

- 2 Letters of Recommendation
- LSAT score
- Transcripts
Complete a Bachelor's Degree
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution prior to the date of official enrollment in law school is required for admission to the Law School.
Take the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT)
We recommend taking the LSAT in June, September, and December. For more information about the LSAT, please visit www.lsac.org.
Register With the Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS)
The LSDAS distributes materials to thew law schools to which the applicant applies. These materials include letters of recommendation, transcripts, and your LSAT score.
Submit a complete application before February 1 for scholarship priority. All other applications must be submitted by March 15th.
