LAWRENCE – On the day that U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts arrived in Lawrence for a two-day visit, a KU law professor discussed the high court on a Kansas City radio ralk show.
Stephen McAllister was a guest on "Up to Date," a one-hour daily public affairs program hosted by Steve Kraske on KCUR (98.3 FM). He joined Andrea Olitsky, a law professor at Avila University, to discuss the court under the leadership of John Roberts, the political balance of the bench and some of the recent cases to go before the court, including those about affirmative action, the death penalty, abortion and the right to bear arms.
