Charles Briscoe joined the KU law faculty in 1995 as a supervising attorney in the Legal Aid Clinic. He brought to the clinic a wealth of practice experience in prosecution, state government service and private practice. In 1999 he was named director of the clinic and began teaching Trial Advocacy, the cornerstone of the law school's trial practice program. He has a B.A. from Kansas State University and both an M.A. and J.D. from the University of Kansas.
