Services for the General Public
The library includes state, national, and international
legal materials; U.S. and Kansas government documents; legal encyclopedias;
law journals and other legal resources both onsite and through the
law library web site.
Kansas residents not connected with the University
of Kansas must obtain a KU Library Borrower Card from the
Watson Library Circulation Department. Appropriate photo identification
is needed to acquire this card, normally a Kansas Driver’s
License. Parental or legal guardian authorization is required for
minors who wish to obtain a KU Library Borrower Card. Cost of
the card for this group is $10.00/year.
A
KU Library Borrower Card also serves as a library copy card if
the user chooses to store value on the card.
