Library Services
Services for the General Public
The library includes state, national, and international legal materials; U.S. and Kansas government documents; legal encyclopedias; law journals and other legal resources both onsite and through the law library web site.
Kansas residents not connected with the University of Kansas must obtain a KU Library Borrower Card from the Watson Library Circulation Department. Appropriate photo identification is needed to acquire this card, normally a Kansas Driver’s License. Parental or legal guardian authorization is required for minors who wish to obtain a KU Library Borrower Card. Cost of the card for this group is $20/year.
A KU Library Borrower Card also serves as a library copy card if the user chooses to store value on the card.
