The Juris Doctor program begins with a solid foundation in the general principles of law and its practice in a changing legal environment. Then we offer more than 100 upper-level courses, clinics, certificates and joint degree programs that empower students to tailor an education to fit their interests and career goals.

Degrees for International Students

KU Law's International and Comparative Law program teaches international students the fundamentals of American law, while exploring issues of both public and private international law. Whether you are new to law school or have years of practice experience, KU Law offers a program to suit your needs.

LL.M. in Elder Law

The LL.M. Program in Elder Law expands on KU Law's basic elder law curriculum and clinical opportunities, and incorporates a faculty-supervised thesis focused on an elder law topic. The program produces graduates who are knowledgeable and proficient in the law that affects elder citizens.
