Transcript, Certification and Diploma Requests

Overview

Learn how to request academic summaries, official and unofficial law school transcripts, certifications of enrollment and diplomas from the KU School of Law.

Academic Summary Requests for Current Students

Requests for academic summaries (unofficial transcripts) must be received online through the myKU Portal, which can be accessed from any KU webpage.

Once in the myKU Portal, select the "Advising" tab (as shown below). Then select the "Print Law-Only Report." Your academic summary will appear in a new window, where it can then be saved or printed. You may have to grant permission for saving or printing, depending on the internet browser.

Official Certification of Enrollment Requests

Requests for an official certification of enrollment must be directed to the University Registrar. Please visit the University Registrar's website for more information or call 785-864-4422.

The University Registrar can provide enrollment certifications as well.

Diplomas

The Office of the University Registrar orders your original (first) diploma. This order defaults to pick-up unless you updated the delivery method when you applied for graduation. If you have a hold on your account preventing the release of your diploma on the day the diploma order is placed by the Office of the University Registrar, your diploma will not be printed until the hold is cleared. Original diplomas are held for one year after graduation.  You can modify your delivery method in Enroll & Pay to ensure you receive this important document. After one-year diplomas are destroyed and students must request and pay for a replacement diploma.

Please visit the University Registrar's website for more information on diploma distribution or call 785-864-4423.
